Volunteer Opportunities |
At Phoenix Enterprises we provide an environment that is safe, supportive, stimulating and empowers people experiencing mental health problems to fulfil their potential. We can offer you work experience within a production environment. Our aim is to promote every volunteer’s self-esteem and confidence by building work and social skills and through training in literacy and numeracy. Our volunteers arrange social activities in the evenings and weekends including bowling, meals out, swimming, walks and trips to the cinema. All service users are welcome to visit us. |
- An opportunity to refresh your work skills as well as develop new skills. - A safe, supportive & stimulating work environment. - Building structure and purpose back into your life. - Being part of a friendly and supportive team. |
Telephone Jodie on 01793 719103 to talk about what we can offer you. Ask your Support Worker to complete a Referral Form (Please note all information is held confidentially under the Data Protection Act). You will be invited along at a time and day to suit both you and us for a Taster Session. Following the taster session, you can let us know if you want to become a regular volunteer and we will sit down to discuss this. Everyone is welcome at Phoenix Enterprises irrespective of their disability, ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, caring or parental responsibilities, or beliefs on matters such as religion and politics. |
Our leaflet is available from Community Mental Health Teams or directly from us. |
We are also in the Swindon Occupational Partnership leaflet which is available from your local GP surgery. |
