Our Chief Executive Emma Rees has decided to leave Phoenix in order to take on new challenges. Her last day with us was 28 February 2022.

Emma played an active part in the charity from 2013 as Chair of Board of Trustees and later as Chief Executive.

Emma’s commitment to the charity, to the service users and their families has been exceptional over the years and she has been key in establishing relationships with several large funding organisation bringing in essential funding, in particular re-establishing local authority funding. She has also played a strategic role in developing a support programme, training initiatives, delivering projects and schemes to enhance the lives of the vulnerable adults that attend our centre.

Phoenix owes Emma an immense debt of gratitude for the work that she has done to build up the charity and her commitment to the organisation over the years has been instrumental in Phoenix’s success and growth. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Emma for her 9 years of service to Phoenix and we wish her every success with the new chapter she is about to take on.
